Electronics & Communications Engineering department established at IIMT college of engineering in 2006 had started many motivational work as 1st NATIONAL CONFERENCE. That conference gave opportunity for focus the research work done by students and faculty members during starting phase of IIMTians. That work motivates other departments also and thereafter many numbers of national and international conferences had been organised by different departments. As we know that without electronics we cannot imagine the existence of atoms and lattice structures for matters, like that without electronics any other departments cannot focus on research work and that can also be visualize by the diagram as shown in below. ECE department is only the heart of IIMTians as many research work as for example MSME projects were funded in 2015 by the hard work of this department. From ECE department, many students work at IITS, research center as CEERI Pilani and aboard also. Many other students also clear GATE exams and did M.Tech  from NITS also.
